Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information I collect when you use The 2-Hour Content Desk, why, and what I do with it. I am Ryno Croft Digital Studio, based in Cape Town, South Africa.
What I collect
- Intake form: your name, email address, PayPal payer name or email, your answers to the intake questions, and a link to your voice note.
- Your voice note: the recording itself, which I access through the link you share (Loom, Google Drive, Dropbox, WhatsApp or similar).
- Payment information: PayPal gives me your name, email address, the amount and the transaction ID. I do not see or store your card number or PayPal login.
- Messages: anything you send by email, LinkedIn or WhatsApp while arranging or discussing your order.
Why I use it
- To confirm your payment and deliver your three posts.
- To handle your revision, answer your questions and process any refund.
- To keep records of the transaction for accounting and tax purposes.
I do not sell your information, and I do not use your voice note, answers or posts for marketing, for other clients or to train any public model. I will only email you about your order unless you ask for more.
Who handles your data
- PayPal processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- Netlify hosts this website and receives the intake form on my behalf, then forwards it to me by email.
- My email provider stores correspondence.
- The platform you choose for your voice note (Loom, Google Drive, WhatsApp and so on) hosts that file under its own terms.
Some of these providers are based outside South Africa, so your information may be processed in other countries.
How long I keep it
I keep your project files only as long as needed to deliver and support your order. You can ask me to delete your voice note, intake answers and drafts once your order is complete. I keep basic payment records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you the information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to any legal record-keeping duties. I handle personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and respect equivalent rights under other data protection laws that apply to you, such as the GDPR. To make a request, email hello@rynocroft.com.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Netlify may keep basic server logs, such as IP address and page requests, for security and performance.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online system is completely secure. Please avoid putting sensitive personal data, such as ID numbers or financial details, in your voice note or intake form.
Changes
I may update this policy and will change the date above when I do.
